Registration for teams is available on the Coast Soccer League website. Any new team needs to get approval from our President, Matt McDonagh, prior to registering. All paperwork and payments must be processed through the Celtic Club by Wednesday, May 11th.
Celtic expects to field 40+ teams this 16/17 season accommodating 650+ players.
Research confirms Celtic team fees remains one of the least expensive clubs yet provides excellent opportunities for success.
The following are PER TEAM (not per individual)
CELTIC CLUB FEES: 2007-2008 $800 per year. 1997-2006 $1,000 per year. (plus $100 per team for Registrar)
CELTIC IS REQUIRED TO COLLECT $ ON BEHALF OF COAST SOCCER LEAGUE AND CAL SOUTH. HOWEVER, THAT $ IS GIVEN TO THOSE ORGANIZATIONS (see below)
Includes: Practice fields (with lights), over 30 aluminum goals and nets at various sites (11 fields in total), free GK training 1 night per week, game fields in the Fall CSL league, free College Fit Finder account and discounted entry into Celtic Cup, new youth academy teams (born in the calendar years 2007, 2008 or 2009) will receive a Green/White uniform to use for free.
HOW? Celtic Cup is a vital source of funding to provide our teams with a full club experience at a signficant discount. In addition, none of the Celtic board draws a salary. This is truly a non-profit organization.
CELTIC FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS 2016
Amount Due at this time, assuming you did NOT sign up for Cal Cup:
2006 and older NEW CSL TEAMS: $1200 (plus an additional $500 due in September)
2006 and older returning CSL TEAMS: $1050 (plus an additional $500 due in September)
2007/2008 NEW CSL TEAMS: $1200 (plus an additional $300 due in September)
2007/2008 returning CSL Teams: $1050 (plus an additional $300 due in September)
NOTE: There are no waivers, exceptions or extensions. If your team can't come up with with the funds by May 11th, it will NOT be a Celtic team for the Fall Season.
Breakdown of Cost:
- Celtic Club Fees $500 (plus the additional amount due in September)
- Coast League Fees $450
- Registrar Fee $100 (this is paid by all teams, 1x per year)
- New team bond fee $150 (this is only for teams that are not using an existing CSL team number)
Additional cost that will follow and be paid to our registrar, at a later time
· $30 Per Player Registration for annual player card for Cal South
· $0 for Coaches cards – these are free per Cal South
Following is for PREMIER LEVEL TEAMS ONLY. If you apply for Premier, you pay this up front. If you don't get accepted, you will get a refund.
· $1075 - CSL Premier U16/U17/U19 Teams only.
· $500 - CSL Premier U14/U15 Teams only
5/11/16 Wednesday @ Upland YMCA 5-8 PM CSL registration paperwork and payments will be collected for those that don't turn in their paperwork at the previous meeting.
REMINDER...there is a Club Participation Requirement form that all managers and coaches need to sign. Turn it in with the applicaiton.
